Genital herpes in women can be spread without the person knowing she is spreading the STD around. In some cases, herpes does not show symptoms and the person who has it may not take precautions to guard against spreading the disease. To be on the safe side, it might be a good idea to get routine testing for STDs and use protection to prevent the spread of genital herpes.

I had genital warts for about a year and finally did something about them and wanted to tell everyone my experience. I was with my ex boyfriend for about 11 months and when he split with me I was heartbroken but I will save that for another blog!
Anyway in the 11 months I was with him he never mentioned to me that once before he had developed genital warts. He didn’t feel he ever needed to mention it as he had them treated.
